Frequently asked questions

What Vasya is, how its memory works, what it can do on its own, and how your data is protected. Still curious? Request access.

What is Vasya?
Vasya is a personal AI assistant — think of it as a chief of staff rather than a chatbot. It keeps a growing memory of your life and works in the background: checking things, drafting messages, and reminding you before you ask. You talk to it the way you already message people, and it handles the follow-through.
How is Vasya different from ChatGPT or other AI assistants?
Two things. First, Vasya remembers you: it maintains a structured, persistent memory of your preferences, the people in your life, and the context most assistants forget the moment you close the tab. Second, it is proactive — you can ask it to check something every morning and report back, and it can set its own reminders to follow up later. Most assistants only act when you prompt them; Vasya works while you are not looking.
Does Vasya remember me between conversations?
Yes. Vasya keeps a per-person knowledge base that persists across every session and run — not a sliding chat window that gets truncated. Preferences, household context, and recurring patterns are extracted and maintained on your behalf, so you do not have to re-explain yourself each time.
Can Vasya do things on its own, without me asking each time?
Yes. You can set up scheduled tasks (for example, a morning briefing) and reminders, and Vasya can schedule future follow-ups for itself. It is event-driven and proactive, so it can check, draft, and nudge at the right moment rather than waiting for a prompt every time.
Which apps and services can Vasya connect to?
Vasya can connect to services such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Garmin Connect, Tesla, Instagram, GitHub, Linear, and bank accounts via Enable Banking, among others. You choose which integrations to enable, and Vasya receives access only to the connections you turn on. You can disconnect any integration at any time.
How do I talk to Vasya?
You message Vasya the way you already chat — through Telegram or WhatsApp — or from the web interface. There is no new app to learn; it meets you in the tools you already use.
Can my household or family use Vasya too?
Yes. You can start solo and, when you are ready, invite the people you live with into a shared channel. Connections are provisioned per shared channel, so your household can use Vasya without ever getting full access to your personal account or credentials.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes. Vasya is hosted in the European Union and operates in compliance with the GDPR. Credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, every agent run executes in an isolated, ephemeral container that is destroyed afterwards, and there is strict per-user data isolation so no run can access another user’s data. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.
Does Vasya use my data to train AI models?
No. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train third-party AI models. Our agreements with the AI providers include zero-retention and no-training provisions, and we never share your data with advertisers.
How much does Vasya cost and how do I get access?
Vasya is invite-only while we onboard people one at a time. You can request access and join the waitlist from the landing page — if you tell us what you would want it to handle, you move up the list.
